Awful bedside manner. Staff gossips to eachother about patients. 1 Doctor comes off extremely condescending and rude. I brought my 17yr old with extreme issues...Doctor couldn't do regular exam, so she just told my daughter she needed these special probiotics just handed us a pamphlet an we ordered these ridiculously expensive probiotics. Nothing got better only worse! My daughter ended up in hospital for 3days pain was so bad. Would not recommend to any woman especially women of color. I planned on having a natural unmedicated birth and my whole pregnancy went fine. Towards the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy my blood pressure elevated and I was told I needed to be induced. I was told due to me being African American my risks for preeclampsia were high. I got a second opinion from another doctor and after evaluation I was told I do not need to be induced. The 2nd doctor informed my doctors at deal lake Obgyn and the request was ignored. Awful. Confused and disorganized front desk didn’t understand my request for support around a high risk pregnancy. I wanted to like this place since a friend said they were good for iud removal. The woman told me the doctor would “review my case” then left a message they wouldn’t see me with zero explanation (I am a straight forward case). If you want people who know what’s going on go elsewhere.
