Propane Furnace with Baseboard Hot Water - water was leaking on the furnace from a defective air vent and the annual cleaning was due. Service Tech came out on Monday Jan 13/2025 and did a great job. Replaced the defective part and got the furnace maintenance completed for another year.
Dead River is conscientious and a pleasure to have as a oil delivery company. Brian Forrest and Zach always put the customer first.
When I tried to start our propane heater this October, I couldn't get the pilot light to stay lit. I called the DR service department and they scheduled a repair tech to arrive two days later. Upon his arrival, the tech was able to start the furnace without making any changes to the system. Apparently, there had been some air in the propane line from the summer layoff. They initially sent me an invoice for $142. But when I complained about the cost for the "repair", the service manager agreed to only charge for half the cost... read more
