We’ve been working with Dead River for over 15 years in Brattleboro. They’re reliable, ready to help in urgent situations, knowledgeable and friendly. We just bought a house that suddenly needed a new boiler during a cold snap and Dead River was a literal life saver. My New England heating tip: go with Dead River, schedule a standing yearly furnace maintenance call, set up auto delivery for fuel, and stop worrying about your heating system.
Dead river point blank lied to me. I called to confirm delivery date and was told “your delivery will be there on Saturday for sure”. When I called on Saturday to check, they said “there is no way your oil will be delivered today”. With no other option, I called back and had to pay a $250 delivery fee for Saturday delivery when I was just told previously “it will for sure be delivered on Saturday”, with no mention of a fee.
