Dead River Co is not the best deal out there... They are expensive, and seem to be about jacking up the price whenever they can. They gave us an estimate of TEN THOUSAND dollars to repair a hot water problem. We got it fixed by someone else for $200. Even their oil is priced higher than most... they do come when they say they will, I can give them that. We were their customers for years until we realized we really could do a lot better - and their customer service is not outstanding.
Substandard customer service Although the customer service received by the folks coming to my house is excellent - the staff that Dead River has answering their phones and dealing with customer issues are cold, curt and bordering on rude in many instances.
