They have a large and ever-changing variety of beers to choose from. I love the pinball machines in the back room. Great place to have a pint and play some pinball. They also got a change machine recently which it's greatly appreciated! Great vibes, great beer, great pinball. A nice place to go if you don't want to be in a bar or "fancier" restaurant type establishment.
Great beer selection,good pinball machines, and the best comraderie to be found in Arcata. I see it basically as the Arcata "Cheers" bar.
There is no finer tap house I've ever visited. The beers, the music, the pinball, and the kind kilt-wearing owner, all amazing. And bring-your-own-food is a plus, not a minus IMO. If you want a place with a kitchen, plush chairs, and canned music, please keep walking - this is not the vibe for you.
