I was so sad to see the 1 star reviews of DPCC-Gateway because my experience was so different. Yes, it did take from March to May for an appointment but Dr. Tucker was so understanding and empathetic as well as thorough in my examination. Now, it is hard to reach a nurse by phone but when a message is left, they do return your call and I felt that they were quite efficient and polite.
Not only was it a huge issue just trying to get my referral to them and set up my new patient appointment. Then they scheduled me twice which I had to reschedule because they didn't tell me about my function test in the morning, they did that twice then finally got it straight and had a day for test and Dr , then on their own cancelled and rescheduled without even seeing if it would work and I've told them which should have been noted I am a dialysis patient and can't do certain days and because they didn't discuss the new a... read more
I was referred here to see a pulmonologist by my doctor over a serious lung condition possibly cancer. They said I would need to wait 4 months to get an appointment. So I made this appointment and patiently waited. 4 days before me appointment I was called and told that my appointment was canceled because the doctor needed to see covid patients. Since I do not have covid a cold or the flue deaconess Pulmonology has made sure that if I have lung cancer it will go untreated spread and kill me. But hey, at least I don’t have co... read more
