I once thought that Deaconess was the bees knees. But that was my inexperience and me being overly proud of our local health offices and excited to see how MyChart simplified accessing my health care. Not recommended for veterans using VA authorizations. They will bill the veteran as uninsured, even though the veteran has an approved VA Authorization. This will happen multiple times, even if corrected once. So when they fix one bill they must not be taking steps to prevent a reoccurrence. This causes the veteran to take multiple steps to rectify the issue. While the drs are great, the financial assistance department is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! I completed the application for financial assistance and waited to hear back from these folks. Over 60 days later, I finally receive 1 letter from them stating I’d been denied for lack of response to their requests for additional information.
