Scheduling is horrible. Either you wait a month for a referral and have to call to get it or they schedule you for a test that requires no contrast for 6weeks. You tell them the date you last had it and they schedule you 5 weeks and 4 days. They called the day before he was originally scheduled, yesterday to push it back a day before cause their pharmacy didn’t have the nuclear meds! But it’s been scheduled for several weeks!! My former spouse, who is blind, had to call our daughter to take him to the E.R. His complaint was pain, severe pain. They did a CT scan on him and his chest x-ray from the previous February was clear, but the CT showed multiple spots on his lungs, liver, and kidneys. They did not do a biopsy, and did not give him anything for pain, and discharged him! My daughter had to take him to another hospital just for pain management. I brought my Mom in the ER to find out what caused her to pass out. The staff did thorough testing and determined that she had a UTI infection and low heart rate. She also has Alzheimer's and was pretty confused about where she was and why she was there. They nurses were very kind and compassionate to her yet firm with her when she tried to get out of the bed a few times despite her fall risk bracelet. Her night shift nurse Koury was great with her! 👍👍
I had emergency surgery here on May 30th, 2025 through July 23rd 2025 for a total colectomy due to a severe case of Ulcerative Colitis that went undiagnosed for over a year before being admitted, and stayed for almost 2 months because of severe rectal bleeding and had to be on the ventilator for 2 weeks. The stay at the ICU was a bad experience...I was bullied to no end which pissed me off and also the nursing staff on the ICU floor threatened to take my life...VERY unprefessional and downright disrespectiful.
