I have taken prednisone off and on asthma flairs for at least 50 years. It worked but with many annoying side effects. Jittery, face looked like a beet, crazy appetite, moodiness. The med i learned to hate. This past week ive had a particularly bad episode. My favorite NP in the world, Teresa Peek at Deaconess Health in Morganfield said i would like to try you on dexamethasone but im hesitant because its six times stronger than prednisone and many people cant handle it. They don’t care about the patients. They only want to do as little as possible. If you are late they will turn u away, even if there are not any patients there. But if they are running late, they don’t inform you when u check in and u just have to deal with it. While you are watching the employees pass around a co workers baby. So I have to waste my time because they are not doing their jobs. While my two year old is snotting and coughing all over the waiting room. America, the home of sub par health care for working familie... read more
