Do not waste your time. I’m not one to leave reviews, nor negative reviews for that matter, but, when it involves my child, I will surely leave a review. We started seeing Dr. De Souza back in July. He was decent about keeping in touch and making sure our 4 year old got her 48 hour at home EEG done. He answered my questions thoroughly when I needed him at 2:45 am when my daughter became pretty sick and I Noticed her episodes have gotten worse in her sleep. I cannot say enough about the outstanding care my son Joe has received from Dr Desouza over the last 3 decades. Over the years he has been my son's biggest supporter, encouraging him to push through both physical and mental obstacles while improving his health and overall well being. Dr. Desouza was referred to us by a family friend in neurology, and he has been exceptional for our daughter and her diagnosis and treatment. Always takes the time to speak about our concerns and listens before addressing anything.
My daughter was hit by a car and we were referred to Dr. Souza but apparently they don't participate in accident care and told me insurance wouldn't pay without even giving me an opportunity to ask any questions. I don't care how good of a neurologist Dr. Sousa is his staff is lousy and it's a horrible way to run a medical office. I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to use him.
