Certainly Not 5 Stars – The service at De La Torres was prompt and courteous, but not up to my highest standards. Notably, our waiter was having some audible sinus issues and his slovenly hygiene left something to be desired. He was able to describe the food appetizingly enough when I asked about the menu's highlights, but he balked when I wanted to know his favorites. He even said "It's all good." Whether or not that's true, I expect a server to help guide me. When pressed, he pointed out the two most expensive entrees. Our... read more

Best Sangria and Paella, Enjoy the Experience – An evening at De La Torres is an experience. It begins with the very relaxed, Spanish mood. This restaurant isn't about turning tables quickly. It's about relaxing and enjoying the food and company. If you are in a hurry, this isn't your place. Start with a pitcher of the best red sangria around. It's fantastic. For appetizers, the garlic shrimp or sauteed mushrooms with their fresh bread and aoili is out of this word. The traditional omelet/tortilla with a spicy sauce is also ... read more

Love the Paella! – This retaurant was a delight. I planned a birthday dinner there for 17 people, and the restaurant staff were extremely accomodating. The service was excellent, as was the food. All of the appetizers were small but scrumptious, and the paella was so delicious I kept eating it even after I thought my stomach would burst. Everyone had a great meal and a fun time, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Horrible Service! – We arrived at 7:30 on Saturday night and was promptly seated. The first disappointment was when the waiter couldn't describe some of the selections on the menu. After ordering an appetizer, it took more than 45 minutes to arrive. Our dinner finally showed up at 10PM. No explanations were given and we rarely seen our waiter. I attempted to discuss this issue with our waiter after I found him in the adjoining restr/bar to ask for the check. The only thing he stated was "A delicacy such as this takes time to... read more

Best Food in Town – De La Torre's is the best food in town. The paella is incredible, as is every dish I have tried here. My husband loves their salmon and I am also a huge fan of their pork loin. This restaurant is a MUST do for anyone who loves good food!

La Espana – After having spent 6 weeks in Spain, De La Torres was a wonderful restaurant to go to re-live my days in Spain. It feels; especially on a warm, Kentucky night; like being IN Spain. Everything is authentic and amazing.

This Castilian cookery transports diners to Madrid with its elegant decor and each bite of its delicious Spanish cuisine. – The Scene The only authentic Spanish restaurant in the city has a tiled interior with a gleaming copper bar. Burgundy tablecloths hide the rioja you may accidentally spill from the earthenware pitcher placed atop your table. With Spanish music playing in the background and the savory scents of tapas filling the air, you're transported several thousand miles in just a few minutes. The Food Garlic shrimp,... read more

A Wonderful Evening – How can anyone say anything bad about this place? I just had the best pork loin, ever. I can't wait to go back and treat my palate to lamb or duck in orange sauce. Our server was very informative on all the dishes. All in all, a great night.

Best restaurant in Louisville – I travel a lot to Louisville and De La Torre's by far is my favorite restaurant in town if not the nation. I have never had more succulent authentic spanish cuisine. The ali-oli (garlic mayonaise) alone is reason to go! The lamb is hands down the best I have ever had and seafood is to die for! The dessert are sinful and off the beaten path. Thanks for the consistantly good service! If you want a delicious and an innovative dining expierience go to De La Torre's! Go! Go! GO!
