At De la Tierra, you can enjoy the local, seasonal flavors that make Taos unique. The restaurant features two seating areas: a more formal dining room and a more casual setting in The Gardens.

I took a look at other reviews, and this restaurant can't seem to get it together with how long it takes to be served, and training/hiring competent staff. Despite ordering the whole meal upfront, it took over an hour for even the appetizer to arrive. Luckily, the ahi was good, the Chile relleno was not at all. The staff has no idea what wine pairings are, which you would think for that prices they would. Kind of a disappointment.
Been there twice and both times everything was excellent but the servers we got, it's a little pricey for the little portions they serve but the atmosphere is excellent and, besides the servers, the rest of the staff is super welcoming and nice!
My husband and I went to eat Dinner on 10/16/24 at the Restaurant De la Terra. We started with a dish made with Beurre bland orange glaze Lobster, with butter black berries and endives, garnish with Chef blend micro greens. The combination flavors were exquisite. The second dish was Ash Crushed Tuna Aguachile, was heartfelt delicious as they were masterfully demonstrated in the work of art presented on the plate. The Entrees was the Pork chop it was totally cooked to perfection,The Serrano ham balsamic sauce was enticing to ... read more
A little more on the expensive side but the food was worth it, very flavorful, the lamb was soft enough you could cut it with a butter knife, the waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine selection, and the low light romantic ambience was great for our date night. As pictured we got the fried calamari, lamb with curry sauce and kale, and crème brûlée. We would definitely consider coming back.
The food was great and the aquarium and flora were friendly. The food was also very fresh and the potato’s were amazing.
