What a fun stop! Staff was ultra awesome, drinks were both pretty and pretty tasty (Blueberry Bee's Knees, espresso martini), and the app was great too (Beef Tenderloin Crostini). Cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely stop again next time visiting Pella!
What an awesome place! The food and Especially the Cocktails were to die for!! Hand crafted to Perfection!! The atmosphere was spectacular! So cozy! Everyone there was So kind and willing to do anything for us! So wonderful!!!
We visited de Kelder Speakeasy while in Pella for a surprise birthday weekend getaway for my wife, and it ended up being one of the many highlights from the trip. The atmosphere is fantastic—cozy, intimate - not crowded (we were there late afternoon). Our bartender Grady was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride not only in the de Kelder Speakeasy but also the city of Pella and its history. The woman I assume is the manager/owner is incredibly rude. The rest of the staff was wonderful, especially the tall server. Drinks and food were both good, but her attitude was very unpleasant and stained the experience.
