Apples and Strawberries! I've been eating caramel apples every October and chocolate covered strawberries every Spring from this place for many years. The apples are so fresh and juicy as well as the strawberries. Having a treat from here is truly a treat.
Watch candy being made The owners and staff of DeKalb's Confectionery are friendly and accommodating. They are aware of their frequent clients to the point of having common purchases readied we walk in the door. Their chocolate creations are beautiful as well as tasty. And they can't be beat for specialty licorices! There is also a fine selection of sugar free candies and every color of jellybean imaginable. I give them 5 stars!
Very nice selection Great staff, friendly greetings at the door, and a lovely selection of treats to be had. They have a great variety of gourmet black licorices that makes my mouth water, and their chocolate creations make great gifts.
The best place for Chocolate! Chocolate suckers, chocolate strawberries, chocolate pretzels...yum! Just smelling the place makes you crave it! They carry a large variety of hard candies, too. Everything is fresh, and they can make candies to order. Recommended - anything chocolate, or if you're up for it, the rock candy.One of the great treats of downtown Dekalb.
