My wife and I were stuck in Hilo,HI with a tire issue and could not find the wheel lock socket anywhere. I called Steve and, with his direction, was able to locate it, saving us several hundred dollars. Steve has been servicing my wife’s previous and present BMWs for about 20 years. He knows what he is doing with respect to BMWs and provides her with information about what the issues were with her car and what he did to address the issues.

The owner Steve is the most arrogant and rude mechanic I’ve ever met. He is the only person at any business to ever treat me with such disrespect. He interrupted me multiple times mid-sentence only to talk over me and tell me how much more he knows than I do. You are correct that you know more about air cooled cars than I do, but it might be useful to get some background on a 30+ year old car that has a long history of work done to it.
