The last time I was at De Dutch was when I was at the Abbotsford location almost ten years ago, which no longer exists. When I recently came to the one in Maple Ridge, I really enjoyed my brunch there since it was not too busy and was able to get a table right away. My server, Emma was great! Got my water and coffee refills and she checked on my breakfast after I tried it. I had a Boer's Breakfast (which seemed to be one of the better values), and asked for soft scrambled eggs. Many places overcook them. But they were great! I have a few concerns though... For the price, I'd expect a more upscale place. I wouldn't mention this except for the premiun price. $8 for a juice and $27 for basic breakfast is a lot. So I skipped juice and had coffee. I came in this morning for my bday breakfast. Emma served us and she was beyond amazing. Welcoming, happy and helpful. I will be coming back to this location because of Emma. She definitely needs to be acknowledged by management. I hope she serves us next time. THANK YOU EMMA :)
