terrible service and stuff is very disrespectful!! Hey all....the customer service over there sucked! I went to the one on Stockton...and oh my...I bought a jacket ...when I brought it home I noticed that it smelled like crap...the material they used to make it was very smelly I coudn't even wear it ones...so I went back to return it...the manager or whoever smelled it and said that it doesn't smell....and said that It was worn...and that there is hair on it...or some other crap...so she didn't give me a refund with my recei... read more
only wear it once I bought a cute pink sweater from the store. wore it once, washed it and the thread came out! I could never wear it again cause that main tread was holding the seam of the shoulder strap. Bought a spaghetti strapped doll baby shirt, with beads on the straps. put it on and tried to adjust the shirt on me, one of them straps ripped at the seam the beads when flying. I had to rip the straps off and just wear it as a haulter top. cant waste the little bit of money i spent on it!
Bring a Book to Read While You Wait in Line This store is overall nicely set-up. It has the usual disarray in some depts as most discount stores do. Prices are comparable to other discount stores. I have been to this store 3 times and have found items that were a good price. However, all three times I have left because the wait in line was ridiculous. From the time that I walked in the store (each time) to when I left the lines were super long - backed up into the aisles. I will not be returning.
D D's The Go-To Store For Smart Shoppers I have shopped at D D's for years. I've never had any problems with the quality of merchandise. In fact, I've found some extremely high quality items for obscenely cheap prices. Yes, the store is jam packed, and it takes awhile to work your way through all the stuff. No one has ever been rude or impolite to me, but then I'm a very polite, friendly person. I GIVE IT A ZERO THE DD'S DISCOUNT STORE IN FT.LAUDERDALE ON McNAB AND UNIVERSITY. IT IS THE WORST STORE I HAVE BEEN IN THE MANAGER WONT OPEN UP NOTHING BUT 1 REGISTER SOMETIMES 2. The truth Hi, I worked at dd's and since everyone seems to be complaining about the customer service there I thought I should give some input. It is not easy to work at a store where the customers can't pick anything up off of the floor and are just plain rude. That is probably why most dd's has a shortage of employees much less good customer service because working there is torture! rude, rude, rude! Yes you can find some good deals if you have the time to look through the maze of junk. But you have to prepare yourself to be treated rudely by either the other customers or the employees! If you go knowing these things then you will find a treasure for not much $$.
ALL THAT When I was in Compton, Ca. I went to DD's, thats when I found out about Sac's DD's. They have designer handbags worth the trip...cheap. The store is a little junky but look carefully for that markdown designer buy. Guess, Baby Phat, Polo, Marc Ecko, Playboy,Derion, Kate Spade,Apple Bottom. Each area probably get a different designer. I will see when I return home to Texas. Of course they send ghetto designers to ghetto areas.
