On June 27, 2025, I took my 13-year-old daughter to DD Luxury African Hair Braiding to have her hair braided. During the service, the stylist poured boiling water on her back in order to seal the ends of the braids. They did not place enough towels to protect her skin, nor did they warn me this procedure involved boiling water. My daughter immediately cried out from the pain. Last minute appointment, but DD fit me in and had my head done in less than 3 hours. These were knotless braids, very neat, very professional, and had two people working in my head. Such good company and has a beauty supply store attached for any hair products
I came to the shop at 9 am for my appointment. Didn't get in the chair for about an hour. My braids don't look like the picture i showed her. Multiple breaks, talking not getting the work done 7 hours . They don't use any hair products on your hair.
