Had an “appointment” scheduled for Friday @noon, get here and they’re looking at me like I’m not supposed to be here, it’s HOT, like NO AC and then they proceed to ask me if I can come back tomorrow because two people called in! I text the owner and ofc nothing as of yet! It’s unfortunate but this place does good work but their customer service/ communication skills lack! My last time here I waited an hour and a half and I HAD AN APPOINTMENT! This was my last straw! Need a new Modland braider ASAP!

Do not recommend. I hadn't been in years but decided to go due to a timing issue and figured I would have multiple braiders on my hair at one time. Booked the appointment about a week ago, arrived this morning and there's a shop full of folks and Denise wasn't there. She text me last night confirming my appointment and I had asked her last night if they were super busy and she replied no. Braids are too tight. Headaches. Prices change once you are done. Tell you one thing over the phone and at the end it’s something different. Gets upset when you tell them the braids are too tight. Young girls braiding while on the phone laughing loud. Uses too much hair in braids making the style bulky. Multiple times saying I am tender headed and that didn’t matter. They braided tighter. My head was bleeding.

Told a price and then once at the salon they increased the price knowing before the exact hair style wanted. The price increased due to they said she would need two bags of hair to make it look full like the she requested from the get go. Do not recommend as that is a not a good way to run a business.
