There was a truck doing work at the end of my road the same time as a tree service was at the other end. I was blocked in so I approached this company about moving so I could leave and get to work. He said that he couldn't and to drive up on my neighbors yard to leave. As I was in a Honda civic that's not even really possible and also unacceptable. This company has been working to help install new power lines and equipment on my street. I live in a wooded area and everyday the workers litter tons of trash on the street and on my property. It seems like they eat lunch and then dump everything on the ground when they're done. They are extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. They have been a terror to everyone on the street.
A representative stopped at my house to inform me of work needed inside my yard. He explained they required access to my 8 foot gate entrance to install a new guy wire for the pole on an easement. I asked that they let me know the night before so I could disconnect personal equipment. The Supervisor left a note on my door with info about the date and time they expect to be there. In 2023, there is minimal customer service anymore, but this company deserves a standing ovation. Thank you for the explanation and fast response.
D&D power was subcontracted by Eversource Electric to install a pole and move service from a damaged pole leaning against my house. It took three attempts over several months, but finally it was installed. Last Tuesday, Charles Tooth and his crew arrived at 7:30 in the morning, installed a new poll, transferred services, and cleaned up the work site amazingly well within five hours.
