The billing practices and HIPPA compliance of DC VA Counseling are abhorrent. I have been overcharged hundreds of dollars by Isabel Kirk, who handles all billing herself, and poorly. To make matters worse, when disputing my claims, she sent me a photo of her laptop that clearly showed the names of other patients!! When the mishandling of my finances came to light, she became beligerant; YELLING at me over email, blaming my provider and me for her mistakes, contradicting herself and making no offer to correct the charges.
