I'm 24 and paid for my whole wedding every single penny of it by myself so I'm taking this very seriously! To start it off THEY BOOKED TWO CEREMONIES AT THE SAME TIME OUTSIDE! Maggie called me a week before my wedding and explained to me that the outside wedding that I've been planning on forever couldn't work because their computer messed up! I had a Birthday/First communion party for my family at the DC Centre. They took the worry out of the entire event! The room was beautiful and the staff was on top of everything. We had a couple of family members that arrived late so we asked that they served the meal a little later. They did it without a second thought. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to hold an event to remember!!
I will never recommend anyone to rent at the DC Centre, I didn't even give them my deposit for my Wedding reception before my fiance and I decided we were nt going with them. I had made two appts with them to see the Venue, once with my maid of honor, the second time with my fiance, and then one day I call just to see if I can move my wedding reception up since we wanted to get married sooner. I attended a wedding reception at the DC Centre in Omaha NE this last month. The facility looks nice but the service is poor and the price is way too high. The bride and groom pre-paid for alcohol but the guests were being charged $2 a beer. When the manager was approached about this he argued with the bride and groom at the head table for all the guests to see! How unprofessional!!
