Communication is terrible car was dropped off Friday by noon and now it's Tuesday and they STILL have failed to tell us what's wrong with the car. How long it's going to take to even look at the car or hook up the diagnostic machine. My wife called and he hung up on her. I express my frustrations and now he's mad, what a joke
I've been going to Dayton Transmission Repair for half-a-dozen years and sending friends there. Reasonable prices, no surprises and quality work. I trust Kevin and Chris to always give me good advice on repairs. Best of all- I can drop the car off- and take the free RTA flyer back home- it runs every 10 minutes- making it ultra convenient.
ALWAYS excellent service @ Dayton Transmission. Staff is very friendly and the work on my vehicles is done with expertise and thoroughness in a timely fashion. D.T. is very professional and knowledgeable. Chris, the office manager couldn't be any more friendly. He's very kind, patient and understanding. Overall... VERY positive things to say about this shop. They do it right the first time around.
Chris and Kevin were patient with my truck's problems and I am very happy with the pricing and the quality of the repair. I would definitely recommend them to anybody with auto repair needs.

I AM COMPLETELY UNHAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED AT THIS SHOP. SPOKE TO KEVIN WHO WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. SPENT $2500 FOR A REBUILT TRANSMISSION AND A FEW WEEKS LATER I STARTED HAVING ISSUES WITH OTHER INTERNAL PARTS LEAKING FLUID. WHEN I CALLED BACK TO DISCUSS THE ISSUE I WAS TOLD THAT I NEEDED TO SPEND AN ADDITIONAL $700 TO GET MY CAR RIGHT. WHEN I DECLINED THE SERVICE BOTH CHRIS AND KEVIN WERE RUDE, SHORT AND DISRESPECTFUL. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUST WORTHY.

The most untrue statement, how do internal parts leak fluid? Mrs. J**** did not pay $2500, even that statement is incorrect. Unfortunately 60 days after rebuilding a transmission in her 12 year old car, the radiator developed a coolant leak and was leaking antifreeze and is not uncommon on a plastic radiator with 171,000 miles. An antifreeze leak is unrelated to a transmission rebuild.Mrs.J**** wanted a free radiator and was unwilling to repair her own car at her expense. Work is not done satisfactory. Bolts were left loose, cables and lines not reconnected. Wouldn't take a tricycle there for repairs. Management would not take responsibility for mistakes or attempt to rectify them. Person was very rude and threatening.
