The first day wasn't bad. The second day we returned to our room late in the evening and found roaches running around the floor and cabinets. We had our room switched and the that rooms shower backed up while I was trying to wash off the itches from the roaches.smh....all i got was an apologie.

Great hotel! Lots of pool options! Would have given 5 stars but the free bfast line was REALLY long! And if you wanted waffles and other food, you have to get back in the long line.

I am so glad i didnt let the reviews dissuade our decision to book with dayton house. Gorgeous suite with beautiful view. They emailed ahead of time about the construction and to be honest, the construction was not obnoxious or loud at all. I don't think its fair to downvote the hotel for something they have no control over. The suite was very clean and comfortable. Water pressure was amazing. The women at the rose room are so friendly and accommodating. Only complaints i have are about there not being cleaning done daily , ... read more

Room was across the street from the main hotel and beach. House keeping knocked on door at 11am my wife checked out in 5 minutes. Manager called me at 1130am threatening a $300 charge. Completely unprofessional

So the rooms seem to be somewhat updated and the beds slept pretty good. The location is a great spot, they have heated pools and it was neat they had a "lawn" with chairs and stuff. We'd stay again 4 stars cause the hallways smelt like straight weed and I'm pretty sure the elevator is a death trap.
