This review is for the pre-quote phase of a project. Mike came out to the house on a Tuesday at 4. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He said that he wasn't interested in doing work for an insurance claim because he does the quote, homeowners get the check, and then he never hears back from them. I explained I already had the first portion of the repair money from the Insurer, and I would be happy to pay him as a deposit. He declined and said he'd have a quote to me in the next "day or two". I would not recommend this company as their owner has integrity issues, communicates poorly, and makes promises that aren’t kept. If this is all acceptable maybe they’re the right company for you. Nice people, but have literally no idea how to run a company.
On time and professional, but quoted me an astronomical 18k for a 200 sq ft deck on pre existing concrete. Over double what other companies quoted me. Not sure the added premium is worth it to go with this company.
We had a wonderful experience with Mike with Dayton Decks. Our deck is beautiful, Mike was very professional with his communication and always showed up on time and they gave us the best price compared to other deck companies we quoted. Very happy with our experience and definitely recommend Dayton Decks!
Working with Steve was a pleasure. He was timely, efficient, personable, and did an awesome job. Steve and Nate took on a deck repair job in 20-30 degree Ohio December weather and had such positive attitudes the entire time.
