Follow up on permits is terrible, they never return calls or emails. It has been months since submitting paperwork and I call a few times a week and leave messages and they never get returned. Asked for assistance from another person in the office and they said only one person handles it and said they can transfer me to her voicemail, I said I left messages before and get no call back. She stated that's all she can do.
The city of Dayton building inspections continues to fail at every level on their fire protection side. Plans will be in review for 55+ days and no information can be given as to when they might be released. Phone calls made, emails sent, yet time and time again the reviewer is out of the office, in the field, or simply will not answer. Plans will be rejected for seemingly silly reasons, and when questions are asked as to why, the reviewer cannot explain.
