I was in town for a funeral. Booked the room for two nights. Came in the first night and the godawful smell should have been the first clue. No one was at the counter. I yelled, rang the bell, looked in the hallway, and no one came up. I left and went to a different hotel and got a room right away. I came back the next morning to cancel my reservation and explained what happened and was able to get the second night refunded but not the first. Had to wait for a manager to review it. customer service is horrible the front desk girls who picks up the phone have no customer service all are rude and unprofessional had one female hang up on me when I asked her a simple question like what is your name don't recommend this place looks messy and not clean just from the outside theres places 30 seconds down the road cheaper and more professional then the current staff they have especially the early shift
Offered to pay for a room just to use their boat ramp for a day. Lol cant turn away money much easier than that.
Double payment, pet friendly.. when they ask if you have a pet and then they charge you for pet hair removal, and charge you for a smell .. have you seen this place look at the reviews, run down hole in Okeechobee..
Says it's a pet friendly hotel but charges you $200.00 for pet damages which was pet hair and smell they said the smell was probably from the mold behind the bathroom showers liner which had holes where ua towel bar had been removed and a nasty odor came from when you took a shower and as for the pet hair I have a short haired dog that don't shed house keeping obviously don't want to do there job or maintenance and what to scam the consumer out of money
