We have just travelled across Canada from Nova Scotia. Every night a hotel. We always tell hotels we travel with a dog. We don’t mind paying the dog fee. Stony Plain was no exception. Told the desk we had a dog and they gave us a room. Only when we were leaving and got our receipt did we notice there was a 200 dollars charge for “ sneaking a pet in “. The room was quite small and the bed wasn't overly comfortable. I was on nightshift and it is quite a loud busy location. Air conditioner sounded like it was possessed and I was in a room that caught direct sunlight so it was extra hot and noisy. No giftbag for diamond members was available on check in. Wouldn't recommend if on nightshift.

This hotel seems recently renovated. It’s very clean and organized. staff are friendly. breakfast is good. The room is quiet, neat, and equipped with enough supplies. Thank you!
