Came in right before close and still had some doughnuts to choose from and they were absolutely delicious.
Place looks dirty donuts are overpriced & no sausage rolls
Best donuts in Colorado (!) just a block from Amtrak’s Southwest Chief. The train stops for 15 minutes- just enough time to grab donuts & coffee. Or if you’re driving through .. stop in and thank me later.
We used to have a Daylight Donuts in San Antonio which I missed. Stopped in for a fritter and a milk- was charged $10. Thought it seemed steep, asked for the receipt and was given it. It had 3 bearclaws and a drink on it. I told him “I think you may have rung me for the wrong order” - he started to argue, when I showed him the receipt and what he had just put in my bag he reached into the till at gave me two $bills. Went in looking for an alternative to our new Sunday morning donut obsession, which we were satisfying at Safeway. Had an outstanding conversation about La Junta, my new home. Too late for the best of the selection, but enough to make an enjoyable dozen. Great quality and service. All of the negative reviews should be ignored. No, not as good as Dunkin, but we don’t have a Dunkin, so get over yourselves.
