Daybreak Diner

4.2

About this business

If you're in the mood for an inexpensive home-style breakfast at a typical American diner, Daybreak Diner is the place. Popular dishes include the '1-by-4', a single egg, with bacon, sausage link and a pancake. If you're hungry, consider the '2-by-4', double the food at double the price. Omelets are light and filled with interesting ingredients, pancakes are fluffy and the biscuits and gravy taste good. Breakfast entrees and other selections are served all day.

Went to the Daybreak diner for breakfast with my husband about a week ago and was extremely disappointed. First time back after a couple of years absence. Encrusted French toast was horrible, limp, the bit of taste there was was not pleasant. I ordered one of the eggs benedict breakfasts that was also sad, the Hollandaise sauce had no taste. Service was also pitiful. They used to be great, we were very disappointed. Noticed I did not see the owners there as in years past, maybe that was part of the problem?

Citysearch Editorial Review – Home-style cooking paired with friendly service is this Dover Shores diner’s specialty. Locals, seniors and families chow down on biscuits and gravy, omelets, burgers, sandwiches and homemade chili, soups and desserts. The quaint ambiance features framed pictures of Norman Rockwell and of customers throughout the years, country décor, Green Bay Packers memorabilia and brown tables with green diner-style chairs. Customers can also eat at the old-school counter on stools like patrons did back in t... read more

BEST DINER IN THE AREA! – This is my family's favorite place to go for a good diner meal! The selection is great and everything is fresh and well made. Everyone there is so friendly and actually pays attention to your every need. There are always wonderful specials and fresh made desserts to try. THey are very kid friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The only sad part is that they are not open on Sundays.

DayBreakDiner is the best. I have had meals there since they opened their small location on Curry Ford. My favories are the breakfast specials...On Mondays they serve the BEST beef tips over noodles. – The food is outstanding and fair pricing. The waitress crew is always friendly, and they work together to make sure the customer has a good dining experience. So when Monday comes along, I pay a visit to order the BEEF TIPS OVER NOODLES with BUTTER BEANS/ROLLS. Yum Yum! They offer great breakfast selections, including a GREAT ... read more

The food is great - if you can get it. My experience as a "walk-in" was that my predecessors in line were greeted and put on a list, as those after me. I was invisible! All I wanted to do was place an order to take out. I was completely overlooked. Choosing not to jump up & down and scream, I left. Why do businesses so often overlook the single individual, especially female? Are you not interested in my business; am I such insufficient profit that you'd rather not bother with me? If I'm not treated as well as couples, groups... read more
