Do not recommend. The nurse came in with yest results for my son a diagnosis then shut us in the room for 2 hours until I complained that no one has checked on us or said anything else. A new dr came in and said ok that's what it is let me get your discharge papers. No instruction, no additional check. Nothing. And to top it off they never sent in his antibiotics so here i am on the phone with them and they said theres nothing they can do about it. Beyond pissed with the er department. They dismissed my 4yo daughters STAPH infection for an eczema outbreak went home she was screaming in pain all night took her to Dr mandell and Dr Joseph’s there in the pedatric dept and they knew right away and sent us to CCMC worth the drive they actually care for children unlike daykimball ER my family and I are calling into complain this was not acceptable at all. Worst place to take your child never again

My son almost died because they wouldnt check his mouth the doctor marc rigatti wouldnt check his mouth we brought him to the childrens hospital in hartford ct find out he did infact have a abscess and his face had gotten swollen this man wouldnt even give us referrel the nurse came in after to inform us he should off i would steer clear of this hospital as they do not care.

Went to the hospital yesterday midnight for bad chest pains and shortness of breath. The waiting room was completely empty which I was happy about. Once I got to the back is where the negative experience started. The doctors was looking at me as if I was lying and not taking my words serious. They did an ekg and x ray though which was quick and easy. They brung the machines to my room. One of the doctors who did the IV/blood drawn did it completely wrong which hurt so bad!!! In-network ER uses out of network contracted doctors. Just received a second bill from NEMS after my visit. Out of network not covered by insurance. Day Kimball billing has “no idea”. Update : Been paying 200$ a month to pay the bill, 1 month left and they put me into collections.. Never missed a payment and paid on the 1st of every month..
