Greg was amazing. After 22 years of marriage, my wife's diamond popped off and was lost. She was devastated. After shopping around we decided on Dawson's. He had nicer diamonds for the same price and was a better value than the competition. Greg took the time to make the perfect custom ring for my wife, giving me time to choose from a variety of diamonds. He also took the time to size a ring that fit me perfectly. Comfort, quality, local small jeweler with one-on-one service. I’m so happy I found a genuine jeweler like Greg to do the job right and for a fair price.
After being quoted $300 for a very basic ring resize and another $400 for some unnecessary prong repairs at a well-known jeweler in downtown Foco, I looked around and found Greg. He made a point not to “talk trash” on his competitors and quoted me a price I could actually manage and that made sense to me, the layperson, for a ring resizing. Mr.Dawson took great care with my wife’s engagement ring and wedding band repair. We had a clear consultation about what I needed repaired for the set and Greg also suggested improvements to help the longevity of the rings. The price of the service was incredibly fair and I enjoyed visiting with Greg.
Greg is a great jewler. He definitely knows his stuff. The ring is beautiful. The reason it's not 5 stars is he would not listen to my girlfriend about the sizing of the ring. She told him repeatedly that her hands swell alot, and wanted a half size bigger. He assured her that she would rather have it tight than go a half size bigger. Now she has to go back and have it sized a half size bigger because it's to tight to wear most of the time.
