I called to return a plate I ordered for a Staccato pistol which I initially thought would come without a plate. Turns out the gun did come with a plate from Dawson. The customer service representative informed me due to the order being over 30 days I could not return plate. I asked if she could make an exception to this rule as I have done lots of business with Dawson (the order is around 40 days out). The representative became hostile and escalated immediately. Jay was very knowledgeable and helpful during the process and kept me in the loop. I sent a slide in for sight replacement. The work was done without a week and returned. I received it and was so pleased with my dealings and the product and workmanship. I immediately sent 2 more slides in to have new fiber optics installed. Outstanding, I called in need of some magazine base pads and since I’m in the area I can pick up as I had a shooting match in 2 days. Well unfortunately they were out of stock. But once Daniel heard I had an upcoming match he placed me on a brief hold and when he got back on the phone, asked me to come into the shop later that day since they were going to make me the mag extensions on the spot! Outstanding, great product and somehow greater customer service.
I ordered their red dot plate for my kimber 2k11. For the life of me I couldn't get it to stay tight. Not only did Dawson help me and walk me through it but they CALLED TO CONFIRM it was fixed. What company does that nowadays? 10/10 customer service and quality of their products!
