Taxation is theft. Other than that the office and people are good.
I took our certified home appraisal to the tax assessor’s office to appeal our real estate assessment on our home. Our CERTIFIED appraisal came in a full 70k LESS than the assessed value by Dawsonville. In spite of this fact, our appraisal has been summarily rejected by the assessors office without a justification. How is that an appropriate action?
