The worst all about taking people's money and never returning calls!
She has treated my daughter for TMJ - the initial plan was for 18 months but is has now been almost six years. Daughter went this week for a second opinion. Her teeth have been pushed forward in her month and she needs at least 18 months of the RIGHT treatment to correct the problems that have been caused by the continuous string of "let's try this" options. She is a very kind hearted and patient oriented doctor. Very knowledgeable and has built me a perfect smile. I have been seeing her since I was in elementary school with braces and would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Slabach treated my daughter for tmj, but she did not have tmj. Dr. Slabach ruined her bite and also caused her back molers to erupt. The splints also caused her tongue to thrust forward. During Dr. Slabach's treatment, the splint broke and Dr. Slabach spent months grinding on it and could never get it right. My daughter was always in a lot of pain because the splint was too high on one side. This doctor never had an end goal or final solution and just kept stringing us along.
Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I felt like family from day one. Dr. Slabach and her entire staff are wonderful. I have had lots of work done - due to damage done with TMJ. They have been nothing but patient and supportive. Dr. Slabach has even agreed to meet me to fix a temporary crown - and she was on her way back from an out of town teaching commitment. For Dr. Slabach, it's all about the patient, and I find that very rare these days. Highly recommend.
