I’ve seen this group perform several times, and they are easily the most authentic Polynesian dancers in Atlanta. It’s wonderful to see a company primarily of Polynesian descent using traditional implements like the ‘ulī‘ulī and pū’ili—it adds such a genuine layer to the performance. Their Hawaiian and Tahitian dances are consistently engaging and full of energy. We had a great experience with Dawn and her team. Very professional and super fun for adults and children. They got the crowd involved and really spiced up our luau Christmas party! Recommend!

Our community luau was truly elevated by having Dawn, owner of Dawn Mahealani Douglas and Mahealani’s Polynesian Entertainment, as our hula dancer! Her grace and professionalism were evident from start to finish, and the added fire performance was an unforgettable highlight. Having them greet guests as our event’s welcoming presence really upped the ante and set the perfect island vibe. Highly recommend!

Dawn and her crew were an amazing addition to our backyard luau- so professional and so authentic. Having lived in Hawaii, I wanted to customize my show to a 30 minute authentic Hawaiian hula with a participation song, and some feather gourds and bamboo sticks - she listened and was so accommodating. It was just perfect! And so dependable on the timing! Thank you Dawn! We are blessed to be able to experience Hawaii in Georgia!
