Although she does have a different then I expected, I felt very comfortable sharing issues with her, and always look forward to a returning visit. To this day I carry her thoughtfulness with me.
While Dawn is a very nice person, I would like a counselor that at least stays awake during a session. Additionally, she spent a lot of time talking about her own life, which I wasn't there to hear.
As a chronic illness patient it is hard to find someone that understands the dynamics of physical illness with mental illness. Dawn gives me someone to talk to without making me feel like my health is my fault.
