This place is great, getting sober is not easy or fun and the only issue I have personally witnessed is that yes; all of thier staff cannot be in recovery or understand us addicts but they truly have made a huge effort to adapt to this new age in which you can get into a rehab basically for free, get decent if not really good food(DFD) and have the chance to.btreak old bad habits etc. Im 39 and when I first tried to get sober at 18 or so it was incredibly difficult to find a rehab that didn't cost 40K. Dawn farm refuses to improve their training in helping people with Dual diagnosis. They wouldn't take me into their transitional housing for this exact reason. They let repeat relapsers come back yet won't give me a shot! Not to worry you're not losing that much money with me Dawn Farm.....shame on your organization.
They helped me save my life. There is no where else like Spera or dawn farm.
I cannot put into words how wonderful this place is. The staff are top notch and extremely knowledgeable in the addiction and recovery arena. They provide outside meetings so you can gain support. Extremely grateful for this recovery center.
