My A&P had Dawley repair my crossover exhaust system for my Piper Comanche 180, and when it was reinstalled we noticed low EGT on cylinder #3 and severe vibration upon start-up. After 4 hours of trouble-shooting and several other run-ups, we discovered that the exhaust stack for cylinder #3 was completely blocked by the wall of the pipe for cylinder #4, to which the stack for #3 was welded. Apparently, the step of cutting out that portion of the wall to connect #3 and #4 was omitted.
Excellent service and good work. Used them for repairs on Maule mufflers and exhaust pipes.
