Exchanged the engine got car back with 4 6 inch nuts/bolts and a metal plate not installed back on the vehicle. The air conditioner does not work now and certainly did when it went there. The biggest surprise was my car no longer goes in reverse?!? It dis when it stopped running. The alternator was broken and wasn't no fault of theirs? Really?!? I had to pay for that as well. I hesitate in writing negative reviews but I think people should be aware of the things people will do and say to someone.
Although he wasn't able to install my back up camera, he did everything he could to make it happen. Very friendly, good customer service. Would recommend.
Bought vehicle needed oil pan replaced due to oil plugged stripped. They got me in there put new one on. Before leaving and by grace of god right place right time ordeal god sure was looking after me. Anyway my car wouldn’t start Tom ask if I’ve had problems with it I said no I drove it in here. I know why this place already has such great reviews. My family and I were passing through to visit family when we experienced car trouble. Tom went above and beyond to help us out and get our car back on the road. If I lived in that area Dawes Automotive would be my go to place for car repairs.
