Great food if you love southern cooking. Friendly service and great people.
There are restaurants that try very hard to convince you they’re something they’re not. And then there’s Davy Crockett in Morristown, which seems perfectly comfortable saying, “Sit down. You’re getting country cooking.” I started with the fried mushrooms, and these were damn good. Breaded in-house, seasoned properly, and fried without turning them into little grease-soaked sponges. Good food, reasonably priced. Service was very friendly and fast. Not a fancy atmosphere so good for families with children. Looking forward to returning and trying something else.
