I have been receiving dialysis from June of 2023. I was apprehensive of course at the beginning. I think that it was the fact on how I got here in the first place got here. After I got to know the procedures, I was more confident I had the port first then the fistula, now that is an experience for sure. I also had some bleeding issues off and on with the removal of the needles. I think that has been steadily improving.
