The pancakes and sausage breakfast is not worth the money but the rest of market was good
The pancake & sausage breakfast special gave us the added incentive to stop by on a Saturday. Even if I need nothing else, the meats and cheeses are worth the visit to me. Then there is always bread, jam, honey, (extra-) fresh produce and other foods and items to add to my bounty before going home. I've never been disappointed when I stop there.
Have been very disappointed the last few times we’ve visited. Today there were only 2 farm vendors (there used to be a dozen!!!). Very disappointing for a farmers market. Most of the vendors are selling homemade crafts that I am definitely not interested in - I come for fresh, locally grown produce and foods. We still love Hill Cheese but many of the old standbys are gone. What is going on?? Clearly a management issue. Until this is fixed, sadly we likely won’t visit again.
I always go here to by meat at knob hill meats. We love their grass fed beef. I had some lunch at mamas tacos and more. It was absolutely delicious.

Obviously the weekend has more vendors but you can still find the great deals and produce on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A must see for everyone who enjoys the home grown !!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I read in the Davison Index today about the craft show coming this weekend to the market good. My question is why wasn't the Green Olive Tree not mentioned in both the articles about the craft show and the,Full page announcement about the craft show. Both times the Market place cafe and the pizza place was mentioned. Sam the owner of the Green Olive Tree is loyal to the market but gets not much help from the market. Also he is one of the first vendors there when the market opened. My other concern is where is all the vendors... read more
The vendors that you do have are fantastic. Love Knob Hill and the cheese place! The taco stand is a nice addition this year. However, we will be traveling elsewhere if the market keeps shrinking. For a farmers market, the selection isn’t very large and there are too many open spaces outside and spaces inside are occupied with vendors that don’t seem to fit the farm market vibe. I hope the management is able to hang on to who they have left and are able to resolve the issues why vendors aren’t coming in and/or staying.
