I had originally written a good review! Our nurses were wonderful, Josette was wonderful. Her attending was sloppy and careless. My 6 year old came in from an atV accident, sever abdomen, spine, and rib pain. His diagnoses was rib fractures and the stomach pain was from nausea. Treatment plan; Tylenol, ibuprofen, and zofran. He’s screaming in pain.. take him back to the er after seeing his pediatrician to be told to get a wheel chair and take a seat( after asking for a Gurnee to meet him since he wasn’t able to sit or move)…... read more
I went to the ER at Davis Medical Center. I was admitted almost immediately. Dr. Sears was the attending physician and I cant say enough about the care I received from him. He was kind and very thorough. Each time he was in my cubicle for treatment, before leaving he asked if I had any questions for him. He explained everything he was doing to me and why. Shame on you I have never been so upset staff treated me like garbage and Didn’t treat me for dehydration, even though my urine test showed it I was given no fluid no pain medication even though I cannot take most of them so obviously I’m not a drug seeker. Basically I was told that my pain and blood in my urine was nothing and sent on my way after I was sat there six hours.
From out of state and needed my appendix removed. The staff at this facility are some of the best I have seen. They truly work hard and seem to care so much about the patients. Thank you all for taking care of me and saving my life.
