Davis Jones is a rockstar! He created an amazing score for the award winning documentary "Dieorama" (featured at SXSW) that I edited, and working with him was an absolute pleasure. The initial ask was not an easy one, and he knocked it out of the park. Throughout the process, he was able to quickly pivot and address rolling changes, while remaining cool, professional and collaborative!
Davis did incredible work on my album VICTORIA. His mixes always add space and clarity to each layer. He also contributed amazing performances. He picked up on things I missed and helped make all the instrument arrangements even better. I’m still getting compliments on the mix quality and style.
Davis’ mixes are golden. He’s got deep knowledge across a wide range of gear and software, and most importantly he approaches it with a skilled musician’s ear which helps us relax and make our best work. Highly recommended!!
