I wanted to keep my business local. They answered the phone on the first try and were pleasant, responsive, and helpful. I dropped off two chairs & ordered two cushions. Five months later, I finally went to pick them up and I almost threw up when I was given the bill. I had budgeted high in my head and it was 3-4 times what I thought it would be. We could have bought a living room suite of all new, high quality furniture for the price. It was staggering.
I have multiple pieces in my home that have been restored and brought back to life by Davis Furniture Restoration. Their knowledge and skill is unmatched. They take their time, preserve the authentic features of pieces and are passionate about their work!

I shipped a table via UPS to Kitty Hawk, NC. It was damaged in shipment. I called Jim Davis to pick it up and it took quite some time for him to pick it up. I understand people are busy so I worked with him on that. The table I sent to my customer was a $400 table with corner damage on mitre cuts. I made the mistake of not getting an estimate from Jim because I needed the table fixed and he’s the only option I had way out on those islands.
