i can't say enough good things about davis diesel. My sea ray 390 broke down in oriental NC and I looked and spent money on over 5 mechanics/boat yards over 6 months. Davis was the first place to actually be professional, and I don't say that lightly (they provided estimates both cost and time, clear pricing, diagnostic tools and experience with the engine itself.) along with some of the best communication of a yard that I have dealt with. I called Davis Diesel with a generator problem on my boat. Their technician came right out and assessed that my starter needed replacement. Cost of the starter and overnight charges were going to make it a little pricey but things like this often happen when traveling on the boat. I made a modest deposit and the next morning the crew showed up with the starter, installed it, and….well, the problem was still there. Generator didn’t crank. I highly recommend Chris and Nate for professional service. They looked after our diesel problem quickly, thoroughly and professionally. You wpuld be hard pressed to find a better service than their anywhere. Thank you both of you for getting us going so quickly. Capt. Chris was amazing and sorted our problems out. Unusual situation with a pump built in Turkey, Chris was able to rebuild the pump and sort out the issues issues with the system. Getting us back on track in the same day. Amazing service and amazing company. Highly recommended.
