I would give ZERO stars if I could! Took my car to Auto Zone in Beaufort for a new battery. The guy put it in for me and then it wouldn’t start. Chance I took by asking him to install it. I had to have it towed on Sunday evening to Davis Auto. I called at 8:30am on Monday to find out how long it would take to look at my car and I was told by Gail she didn’t know and a mechanic would look at when he could. Very quick work. Highly recommend.
My low tire pressure indicator was on at 4:55 pm the evening before Thanksgiving. I said a little prayer and limped into Davis Sutomotive. The shop appeared closed for the day but I did see someone inside, so I knocked on the door and hoped that they would respond. William to the rescue! He put air in my tire and then could hear a hissing. So he explored further and found the leak then plugged it for me. This took less than 10 minutes and I was back on the road safely. Not happy.....took my car for repairs.....when I payed with my card ...I was charged a fee of 30 dollars on a 870 bill....30 dollars ...hell if they would have told me that I would have taken CASH with me!!!!! I should have been told of this charge before I paid my bill. ...not only that but they fixed my rack n pinion steering....but also didn't tell me they couldn't align my car because they didn't have the equipment to do it!!!! Car must be aligned after rack n pinion is replaced....so now I have to take my car elsewhere ... read more
