We brought our Toyota Camry to Davis Autoworks after hitting a piece of wood getting to a trailhead in the Sierras. The check engine light was on, and Shawn told us that the diagnostics indicated that both the grille shutter and the motor that operates the shutter were malfunctioning. These are depressingly expensive parts to replace. After replacing only the shutter, Shawn found that the motor was actually fine. This saved us roughly $500 that he could certainly have charged us.
