First I would like to say that this is a black own restaurant. I have been here many times & the food is very delicious. My go-to dish is the shrimp & grits (if it was up to me I would eat this dish everyday from here)! Their staff are very nice & helpful. The owner also takes the time to introduce himself to the customers & have pleasant conversations with them. This restaurant is such a welcoming environment. Awesome job!

I saw that this place had opened and was eager to try it out. From previous reviews, the food looked wonderful, even if it was in the higher side of my budget. Save your time and money. I was quite disappointed in my overall experience. We were the only customers seated, so I feel like things should have gone much smoother. When we were first seated and given menus I had a few questions about the breakfast offerings. The waitress was unable to answer them directly and kept having to run back to the kitchen for answers.
