The warranty is just a slogan not something the company honors. My client has been calling, leaving messages, for 12 days with no reply. The buyer of her home found issues from Davie shoring foundation work that should be a quick and easy fix with thier lifetime warranty. However since they will not call her back or respond my client only has a few days before the buyer walks away from the property. If Davie shoring reaches out to her or myself I will remove this review. It shouldn't take 12 days to return a call.
Davie Shoring raised our Lakeview house 3-4 feet after Katrina. Recently, when getting quotes for insulation, the contractor noted that there are 4 piers/supports under the house that are no longer touching/supporting the home (meaning the supports/piers have sunk). After 6 calls and 2 emails to Davie Shoring – we still have not gotten a call back/appointment for Davie Shoring to take a look at this situation. It has been over 4 weeks, and is very disappointing!
From start to finish, Davie Shoring was an outstanding partner on our home elevation. We were impressed with the first visit by Doug T. who explained the screw lock rod technology used by Davie Shoring to secure the foundation and piers. Michael S. was our Project Manager who meticulously worked through every detail, resulting in a beautiful final project that met every requirement of our Historic District Commission and FEMA. I called to schedule a free estimate and was told that it will be free as long as I don't have my house listed on the MLS for sale already. After the estimator arrived and checked the foundation he told my wife that she had to pay him $200 on Venmo for the estimate. I wasn't home at the time but thank God my wife wasn't able to log on to her Venmo and pay him before he left. After searching for several months in the Baton Rouge and near surrounding area, I called Davie Shoring. I should have called them first. They sent Michael out to do an estimate. He crawled around under the house and did a very thorough inspection. The price was fair, so we signed the contract. Fast forward to March, they came out and did a great job repairing and leveling a 76 year old foundation. Couldn’t be happier with the whole process.
